Cakes With Attitude started out of a desire by its owner, Eva Frickleton, to make something special for her daughter Aneshka's birthday while they were still living in Scotland. Eva, who's from the Czech Republic, has switched careers from architecture and, instead of designing houses, is now designing cakes. Under the tutelage of Paul Bradford, royalty and celebrity cake designer, a special talent was discovered, developed and has now been transported across the Atlantic to Ontario.

Princess Cake & Teddy Bear Cakes
Thank-you so much Eva for your wonderful cakes. We were all thrilled with the result and Ella really felt like a princess. That princess cake was amazing, it was the talk of the party and even those guests who claim not to be cake people couldn't resist a taste. I think everyone had a piece of both tiers. It was so delicious that a few people came back the next day just to have some more. And as for those little teddy bear cakes, they were a total hit. Everyone was amazed and all the kids were thrilled to each have their own individual cake. No arguing over who gets a specific decoration. And everyone was pleasantly surprised to discover that there was actually cake under those candies. I can't thank you enough for helping to make our daughters birthday so special. We appreciate all the time and effort you put in. Your cakes truly are works of art and are the most delicious cakes I've ever tasted. I've always been a chocolate lover but thanks to you Red Velvet is my new favorite flavor. We're already planning what kind of cake we want for our other daughters birthday and it isn't until November. Can't wait to taste some more flavors. Thanks again!!!

Graduation Cake
Wow - you did a fantastic job on the cake! Our family was so amazed that someone can do a work of art like that. The best and the worst part came next. We had to cut into it which no one wanted to because it was so lovely. My mom and mom-in-law were desperately telling me I had to freeze it and not to cut into it!! Well... we tasted it, we couldn't stop eating it because it was so delicious! We all thoroughly enjoyed it and the flavours were great! Along with the fillings!

In The Night Garden Cake
We just wanted to thank you for the amazing birthday cake. "The cake was marvellous and definitely the showpiece of the party". It brought a smile to Holly's face when she recognized 'Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy & the Tombliboos'!! Jacqueline actually commented on how realistic the figures were.

I wish to thank you for being able to accommodate me at short notice with a bespoke birthday cake.
I was delighted with what you produced. The cake did catch everyone's eye as they walked into the room and was definitely a talking point at the party.
The rave reviews continued once the cake was cut as the taste and texture matched the high standard of decoration.

Handbag Cake & Ambulance Cake
What can I say... Eva has helped me out on two occasions now coming up trumps both times with exceptional work in the form of a handbag cake for a website/company launch and then again two months later with an ambulance cake for a 60th birthday party for a paramedic friend of ours. Timmy the Sheep Cake
As soon as I saw the cake I was speechless, it was so realistic, a real work of art. Everyone commented on how great it looked, it was such a shame to cut into it, but when we did the cake was lovely and moist and tasted great and Sean was delighted. Can't thank you enough for the time and effort that went into making the cake for my son's 3rd birthday, the only problem I have now is, he would like the same for next year, not sure how we will manage that now you are in Canada!!!!
